When someone we love faces a devastating illness, we discover just how precious every moment together can be. Kasia recently experienced this heartbreak with the passing of her beloved sister, Beata Chołodowska, following her battle with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.
During Beata’s illness, Kim’s Hope made a meaningful difference in her life. The foundation provides financial assistance to individuals and families affected by glioblastoma, carefully evaluating each application to ensure support reaches those who meet its eligibility criteria. Beata was among those who qualified, receiving assistance with expenses associated with her illness. Kim’s Hope also funded a special trip to Poland, allowing Beata to visit her mother before Beata passed away.
